Bundabergin’ in Bundaberg

Just arrived in the city of backpackers: Bundaberg. We had originally planned to stay at Hervey Bay for the night but it was a town for fishing and retirement homes. There was the option of going whale watching but at 100 dollars per person, we decided to pass.

As of today we have driven 572 km…. and all we hear is old school rock on the radio or country. For once we are dying for a bit of pop. Fortunately we are about to stop by an electrical store to find a cable so that we can listen to bit of our own music.
As for Bundaberg, it resembles a small town with Victorian-style houses.
That’s all I can say for now for we just arrived but we are planning on visiting the rum distillery.
No driving after drinking, of course.
