After being in the plane for over 24hrs, I finally made it to Lima. Sofia, my cousin took us for a tour by night and dropped us off at our hostel.
A few hours later we woke up and walked through Barranco along the seaside to Mia Flores where we stopped for sandwiches and inca cola. With a stomach full of chicharron we walked by a park full of stray cats curling up next to passerbys. Bit of an odd way to start our day in Lima but it beats waiting hours to get into the “Bar à Chats” in Paris.
Two hours and forty minutes went by before we declared ourselves to be lost but thankfully we had our map to take us back to our hostel.
It’s nice to be in summer clothes again and well, I have to admit that the view isn’t that bad either.
