Saving Money

In the morning we were woken up by the park ranger at the campsite but seeing as we didn’t have any cash on us, the ranger told us not to bother. Woohoo! We saved a total of 12 dollars.

Money is tight when you are on the road and without a complete kitchen, our meals are mostly pasta, noodles, and easy Mac but we try to make the most of it. We buy local fruit and make fresh salads when we get the chance.
Showers on the other hand are a luxury. There are showers near the beach but with no hot water, they aren’t appealing. It’s been about 6 days since we’ve had a shower…it’s definitely made us closer. We did go swimming a couple times, that counts, right?
Mission to accomplish: find a free shower
As for Agnes Waters, it seemed like a quaint town but we decided to keep moving.
Next stop: Rockhampton at about 140 km away, stay tuned!
